NEW Wet n Wild Color Icon 5 pan Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

I saw Rite Aid's paper and found out that Wet n Wild was having a 40% off and when you buy 10$, you get a 4$ coupon back, so I had to try out some new things. These eye shadow palettes retail for $3.99 ea, so I got them for about $2.40 a piece because of the discount. Overall I'm just I really enjoy these because of the different textures they provide in each palette, the monochromatic ones contain at least a matte, shimmer, and glittery shade. But the color pay off of these are no match for the 3 and 8 pan palettes. They transfer from the pan to my fingers nice and full color, but when I swiped them on my hand, it was so light.

392A Tunnel Vision
Monochromatic colors from white to a deep black. This palette was the stronger one compared to the Brown one, these shadows actually looks deep and dark but still not a full color eye shadow palette.
Shades
Base - Creamy matte white
Browbone - Shimmery silver
Eyelid - Satin gunmetal grey
Crease - Silver glitter in a matte black
Definer - Satin black

395A The Naked Truth
5 Neutrals that run from a light beige to a deep brown. This palette seems a bit weak because its neutrals and it has a hard time showing up on the skin.
Shades
Base - Matte beige
 Browbone - Shimmery sand
Eyelid - Satin brownish taupe
Crease - Shimmering brown with copper glitter
Definer - Matte deep brown

391A Art in the Streets
I had high hopes for this one and this was the only one that didn't disappoint me because the color does transfer from my fingers to my skin very nicely with a lot of color. These eye shadows are not labeled like the other palettes, I assume because these were meant for you to wear one or two for a pop of color. I'll probably look like a clown if I wore all of these colors on my eyes at the same time. All of these are matte and applied very creamy, especially the orange and the green. These stained my hands a bit when I was swatching them, if you don't want to spurge on the Urban Decay electric palette, give this a try.

Inexpensive, Good Quality Lipsticks for $1.99 each. Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks Review and Swatches

Vamp it Up, Mauve Outta Here, Just Peachy, Think Pink, Pinkerbell

I got these at my local Rite Aid, the original price is $1.99 a piece but you can always wait for a 40% off or a Bogo free sale and it would be even more better. I chose all creme shades, or maybe all of these lipsticks from this line are creme finish. Glide on smoothly, full color and last roughly 3 hours on me without eating or drinking. These can also double up as a cream blush because of the smooth consistency.

Swatches

Vamp it Up 919B - Deep plum with a lot of purple

Mauve Outta Here 907C- Muted pink orchid (great for this years pantone color)

Just Peachy 903C- Peachy coral with some pink

Think Pink 901B- Light pale baby pink

Pinkerbell 968- Bright flirty bubble gum pink

Inexpensive, Cute, and Good Quality Wet n Wild Makeup Brushes

Wet n Wild Makeup Brushes

So Wet n Wild came out with new makeup brushes at the drugstores!!! I saw a total of 4 brushes, teal bristles eye shadow brush, yellow bristles foundation brush, pink powder brush, and the angle blush brush is the same color as the eye shadow one. I only picked up two because the other two didn't look so promising and the other two were $2.99 each . These were only $.99 and looked like these would perform better. The packet is resealable so very eco-friendly.

Wet n Wild Eye Shadow Brush
Very sleek and sturdy handle, the handle feels very similar to the e.l.f. studio brushes. Matte black handle with a glossy ferrule, and the handle prints the brand name and the brush name. This is a pretty dense eye shadow brush, great for packing on only powder eye shadow on the lid because it is made out of natural bristles. The bristles are soft enough to dab and sweep, but if you were to use the tip to place eye shadow on the crease perpendicular to your lid, it will feel a bit pokey. I really don't need this brush because I have like 10 other brushes that can do the same, but the color of the bristles just made me buy it. Its so cute.

Wet n Wild Foundation Brush
These bristles are synthetic, soft and pretty sturdy. I used this for concealer and spot treating foundation. I used dabbing motions to blend my concealer and foundation because I feel like this brush wouldn't be able to really buff or sweep thick consistency products. But it does a good job dabbing away thin liquid concealers and foundations on precise areas on the face. This brush is relatively small, like 2/3 the size of a regular foundation paddle brush.

Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Trios and Palette Review and Swatches

Wet n Wild ColorIcon Trio Eyeshadows

^Eyeshadows with flash so you can see the shimmer and glitter

I was very impressed with these trios because they were only $2.99 each and the quality is very comparable to eyeshadows in sephora. They are silky smooth, great pigmentation, a lot of variety to chose from, and very inexpensive. They just don't last so long so I think an eyeshadow primer is needed for these eyeshadows.

Walking on Eggshells Swatches
Browbone - Shimmering Pearl
Crease - Warm Shimmering Brown
Eyelid - Shimmering Peachy Nude

Silent Treatment Swatches
Browbone - Shimmering Peachy Pink
Crease - Satin Charcoal with Copper Glitters
Eyelid - Shimmering Purple Taupe

Wet n Wild ColorIcon Collection

After swatching the trios, I wanted to test this palette out and I realize that the trios show up way better than this 8 pan palette. These are some gorgous shades and pretty decent eyeshadows but I think the eyeshadows in the trios are just way softer and more silky on the skin. These are a bit more powdery, nevertheless still a great palette for purples and pinks. This palette was $4.99
